I know man, golden sun is such an amazing game! and I really want this series to be nintendo’s Final fantasy, if the game doesn’t sell well in the eyes of nintendo and camelot, then we may not get another golden sun game, and I like how the true fans disliked this 355 to 7.
So if you or anyone loves Golden sun games, please support the game so we may some day see it on 3DS or in the near future and not wait another seven years..

It doesn’t run at normal frames when I play it on DesmumE. It runs at less than half of the normal frame rate which would be 60fps. How the hell do you fix that? And are there any other emulators that would run it better, rather than transferring it to the NDS?
of course it run with normal fast frame..just like the other game
@SujinKroners: thank, but I already stated in one reply that is now working fine. I don’t care if it goes slow, but I got rid of the horrible buzzing sound. Thanks a lot for you help.
How to make it work on R41 DS? And does it run with normal fast frame rate instead of lower than normal?
Go to “Config” Pick the Renderer “OpenGL”
All three options below it should already be ticked, leave those.
Go back to config, click “Sound Settings” Switch to “Synchronus” and Synch Method “N” bring the volume down to 50 and check the box “Advanced SPU Logic”
Go back to config again and go in Emulation settings. Uncheck all of the boxes.
That should fix the buzzing noise problem. Only problem to address now, is why the damn thing runs so slow…

Oops! I forgot to mention that you have to have the ‘Advanced SPU Logic’ box checked as well which is right below the volume bar in the sound menu. That should clear things right up.
Is it possible to run this rom on my nintendo ds some way? I keep getting an error on my r4 card when I try to run it. Anyone else got the same problem? Or is it just not possible to run this on a ds?
@Insect08: I tried it, but no matter what choice of Synchronous sound I pick, the bloody ‘buzz’-like sound won’t just leave when in the ‘input character’s name’ screen and during gameplay. I’m using the patched version you provided. Is there a bug in the sound emulation with DesMune, perhaps? Sorry for bothering you with this small thing.
