Extract the files into a new folder before installing, I had that problem at first then I realised I had the folder in Temp.

there is nothing confirmed but ArenaNet wants to have a single event “roughly” each month, apparently next month is the last beta and then comes the release.

Same here, totally moneys worth! I was shocked when I did “/age” on one of my characters and it said that I’ve played 72 Hours with that character (considering that I played with other characters too..)

As nice as some gory effects are in some other games, I can’t really imagine gory death animations for half of the enemies, GW’s art style just seems too far off for that. Now, maybe some creative executions in PvP…
Only thing I hate about GW2 is…. I would gladly trade all those lightish effects for some blood and gore. rly.
It really was worth it to have spent my money on this game!! I enjoyed playing the beta, now I can’t wait for the official release!!
I had a fun 1v1 fight at lvl 5 with a normal mob. I don’t think thats happened since I played Dark Age.

It was probably installed but the patches were huge!I installed it 4 days before the beta and got a 8 GB patch.

Any date that you can find on the internet is a guess, either by fans or by stores. In other words, inofficial and a fake.
Also, ArenaNet confirmed that there will be at least one more beta weekend event prior to release.
(Also, quite a while ago, the third book was said to be released before the game. However, we didn’t hear from that book ever since then, and no-one know when it’s going to be released or even what exactly it’s about.)
